Fire Island Lighthouse
It was constructed in 1857 at the cost of $9,999.65. In 1987, after 13 years of disuse, the lamp was re-lit, while the keeper’s quarters turned into a museum. Ferry from Bay Shore, walk in from Field 5 of the Parking Lot.
