Disappointed finish

Dear Editor:

First, I was very disappointed at the election results, both for myself and the village. Without naming names, let me first say that in the fall, promises of support were made to me, an independent candidate, which apparently were forgotten by March.  Although my decision to join forces with Gwen (Silver) and Steve (Einig) caused some consternation among the voters, it was clear to me by the end of March that certain promised support would not materialize, leaving me with an organi

Upcoming forthcomings

Ah. After 36 years I finally get to do this thing as a foreign correspondent. Fortunately, my normally reliable sources tell me that little out of the reliably normal has transpired these past few weeks, and having nothing inspired enough to make up, I’m afraid th

An accident occurred at the Gurrera house and the Ocean Beach EMS team came quickly, aided by responders from the Ocean Bay Park fire department and police. Helen Gurrera joined the band Rich Mahogany on stage for several songs at the Sandbar in Ocean Beach and was asked to join them again when they played in Kismet.
